Here is how our recruitment process works…

    • “The No Pressure” Approach

    • Are you an experienced Optometrist looking to find out more about a career in Domiciliary? We pride ourselves on our friendly and relaxed approach to recruitment at Visioncall, so you are free to contact our recruitment team at a time convenient to you. We can dispel the myths about domiciliary and be honest with you about what working with vulnerable patients is like. We are happy to chat in the evening or at the weekend, as we totally understand the pressures of trying to juggle a busy lifestyle and family commitments. Complete our quick apply section or call the team, Lyndsay Johnston 07795 592096 or Laura Adams 07834 733708, and one of the team will get back to you.

    • Visioncall Experience Day*

    • If you are thinking about joining our Clinic Team then the next step is for us to give you another chance to learn more about us. We arrange a day at your convenience to go along to your local branch, where you can meet the team and accompany them to see what we do first hand. You are given a real insight into our person centred eye care by being with real patients in their care environment. You can check out the equipment we use, talk to the team about what the job is really like and you can even roll your sleeves up and get involved if you want to. Plus, we’ll pay you £220 for your day.

For all other roles a face to face interview with the local hiring manager will be arranged.

(*for all Clinical and Operation Manager roles only)

    • Getting You Started, Induction & Continuous Development

    • We use a secure and seamless online process called Docusign to send your offer of employment, contracts details and any supporting documents, and get you started.
Our Recruitment Team are also on hand to help and advise you throughout the whole process, to answer any queries, negotiate on your behalf and to make sure it all goes smoothly to give you added peace of mind.

Everyone new to Visioncall will be whisked away for a two day induction in our Head Office in Glasgow where you can meet more of the team, learn about our core Values and be given the training and support you require to get the very best start possible in your career at Visioncall.

We don’t forget about you once you are here, at Visioncall we value our staff so offer excellent training and progression opportunities as part of your career development with us. We do regular CET events with Dr Scott Mackie as well as specific training identified through regular supervisions with our employees.
